Named one of Rangefinder Magazine's '30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography' 2022

I am a Rangefinder Magazine’s

‘30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography’

Holy hell…yes, I actually did type that!

“The Rising Stars are chosen for their exceeding talent, as well as their spark for directing the industry to new, exciting heights”

After a month of having to sit on this news and keep it secret, I am exceptionally proud and humbled to be able to announce that little old me is one of Range Finder’s Rising Stars of Wedding Photography…in the world! Let me say that again, just so I believe it… top 30…in the world!! MIND BLOWN!

I’m not sure there’s an adjective to truly sum up what this means to me. Of all the recognition and accolades out there, THIS is the most prestigious - the nomination, invitation only, global competition run by the elite editors of New York’s Rangefinder magazine.

After mid-2019 saw me launch myself into the incredible rollercoaster that being a fully self-employed wedding photographer during a pandemic has been. I used that time to work hard on tightening my skill set and defining my creative voice without the distraction and energy-sap of my old day-job holding me back. 3 years into this amazing journey I am proud beyond words (& still a little shocked) to see my name in the 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography 2022! A selection of photographers whose work I used to gaze at and never believed would see myself among. But it goes to show what can be achieved with perseverance, determination and a little self-believe. I am genuinely thrilled, humbled and incredibly pleased.

A huge, warm thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have shaped my journey to this point, you are everything to me, and to the editors of Rangefinder for sharing my vision of the “beauty in the chaos”.

Authentic documentary wedding photography is something I am extremely passionate about, so to get this level of recognition by such an industry great is absolutely amazing, Anyway, enough of my chitter chatter, below are the images I submitted to the judges…
