Georgie and Nick's Awesome Gloucestershire Wedding at Matara

I tried to be smart to beat the holiday traffic to travel from Devon up to Gloucestershire to photograph the wedding of Georgie and Nick, it didn’t work! After getting rather well-acquainted with the M5 I finally arrived in the beautiful village of Tetbury on the edge of the Cotswolds, where I was staying the night before, close to Georgie and Nick’s unusual and beautiful venue Matara. After spending the morning with the girls getting ready it was time to head to Matara, ahead of what was a beautiful ceremony at the Japanese-style venue. Highlights included: Nick’s reaction on seeing his bride, Georgie, for the first time - prompted tears all round, including me; the amazing Indian car that Georgie and her dad travelled to the venue in, with an elaborated decorated ceiling; the 1000 gold paper cranes made by Georgie and adorning the stunning domed ceiling in the wedding breakfast room; Georgie and Nick’s private first dance between themselves in a secret woodland glen; the laughter and natural ease shared between Nick and Georgie - their love for each other was very evident. Georgie, Nick - your wedding was awesome, and I wish you every happiness together in your married future!
