Ellie and Ryan's Laid Back Cornish Summer Wedding at Pengenna Manor

I think this year I’m going to have to divide my title of Devon Wedding Photographer with my neighbouring county as I have been as much Cornwall Wedding Photographer this season! And that is certainly not something to complain about as I love shooting weddings all across the glorious Westcountry (the best part of the country, I maybe a little biased!). This time it was to Pengenna Manor, near Wadebridge, a gorgeous ancient manor house tucked away in a verdant valley with very definite Poldark-esque vibes. Once again the weather was continuing its run of good fortune and Ellie and Ryan were able to get married out in the sunshine on the lawns of the manor house, making the most of the beautiful Cornish country location. It was then onwards to feasting and dancing the night away! Highlights of the day included: the weather (again), hello sunshine; the little bridesmaids and their high energy leaping and dancing across the day; Ellie and Ryan’s super chilled-out vibe which made for such a relaxed wedding; the old piggery where the reception meal took place - it looked beautiful decked out with fairy lights and sunflowers; Ellie’s substantial lobbing of her bouquet, which disintegrated (fairly between the bridesmaids) on impact; Ellie’s bridesmaid Cam’s baby son who was an absolute hit with the ladies and was being cooed over by the younger bridesmaids all day; the location - dreamy; the gorgeous golden light at the end of the day. Ellie, Ryan your wedding was a pleasure to photograph, thanks for being such a fun, laid-back couple to capture and I wish you the very best for your married life together!
