Pippa and Dan's EPIC Devon wedding at Colehayes Park, near Dartmoor.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Devonshire countryside, on the fringes of Dartmoor National Park lies the beautiful wedding venue Colehayes Park, where I arrived to photograph the wedding of Pippa and Dan. On arriving deep in the Devon countryside, the wedding atmosphere was already building amongst their family and friends, Colehayes housing 70 over the weekend! It was my second wedding in a week with an Australian and English combo, this time with the groom Dan heralding from Australia and bride Pippa from the UK. Dan and Pippa were both the sort of people who’s mega-watt beams were instantly welcoming, and this smiley, sunny disposition was shared by their wedding party too (and thankfully the weather too, with the sun appearing enough to dry the drizzle and allow the beautiful garden wedding to take place). Highlights of the day included: the beautiful grounds at Colehayes; Pippa’s beautiful dress hand-made by her very talented Aunt; the colourful decorations around the marquee and grounds; the band…Smith and Son, epic, they had the dance floor alive and the wedding party dancing was so impressive that the floor was literally bouncing; Dr Awesome Wells who followed Smith and Sons did an equally awesome job; that dance floor action - I was grinning all night long photographing everyone having such fun; Pippa and Dan’s very visible love for each other, you couldn’t help but grin when witnessing it.
