John and Michael’s wedding at Deer Park Country House was one of those joyful, feel-good days that just stays with you. Set in the heart of the Devon countryside, surrounded by their favourite people, it was a celebration full of love, laughter, and plenty of happy tears. As a documentary wedding photographer in Devon, it was such an honour to capture the story of their day just as it unfolded.

Although the April weather kept us indoors most of the day, the Orangery at Deer Park made the perfect ceremony setting – flooded with soft spring light. From confetti in the Italian garden to hugs, hilarious, personal and warm speeches, and a dancefloor that absolutely delivered with one of Devon’s best bands Joey and the Lips, the whole day had such a relaxed and joyful energy. No posing, no pressure – just real moments with the people who matter most.
