Karl and Rachel's Summer Devon Wedding

This time I was photographing a wedding on my doorstep in the Devon seaside city of Plymouth, Karl and Rachel's Glastonbury-influnced wedding took place in the Duke of Cornwall Hotel. Glastonbury festival ran close to their hearts as it was not only where they'd formed an amazing group of festival-going friends that attended every year, but also where they met each other and love blossomed over cider and muddy welly boots! You can't really beat that as a way to meet and then celebrate by going to the festival each year! After getting wed in the magnificent ballroom it was time to take a stroll out on Plymouth Hoe in the blazing sunshine before heading back for food and copious dancing! Highlights included: the mega toy-zone for the kids, I was so tempted to have a go on the space hoppers; the amazing cake and Glastonbury-Themed biscuit favours; the super beautiful weather that made even the stroll on the pavement outside the hotel look like California; Karl and Rachel's very evident love and happiness in each other's company; their daughter's joy at discovering confetti; some serious conga-ing on the dance floor!
