Wow, what a gorgeous summer-like day we were blessed with for photographing Morag and Pete’s Devon wedding in the beautiful town of Salcombe. After getting ready at Morag’s parents (making the most of the incredible views of this glorious piece of Devon coast) it was time for Morag and her family to head down to nearby Cliff House, a historic waterfront property held in trust for the town of Salcombe, for her wedding to Pete. Dressed in formal Navy uniform Pete and his fellow service-men looked very dapper! After a very lovely ceremony with many smiles, it was outside in the early spring sunshine for drinks and canapés on the terrace. Morag and Pete took a stroll down to the river much to the delight of tourists milling around Salcombe, with well wishes being sent their way by passers-by, before it was back to Cliff House for a delicious dinner, speeches and an evening of dancing the night away. Highlights of the day included: some very enthusiastic confetti throwing, the beautiful views across the river - some of my favourite in Devon, Morag and Pete’s grins at each other during the ceremony, Morag’s daughter Sophie’s great dancing - and of course, the amazing summer-like weather! Morag and Pete, it was such a beautiful day to photograph and I hope you enjoy many years to come as a happily married couple!
