Ishani and Iain Wed at Pynes House

Ishani and Iain travelled down from the Big Smoke to have their wedding at the achingly picturesque Pynes House in Upton Pyne, Devon. Set amongst the lush green Devon countryside this hidden gem provided the perfect backdrop to what was to be a unique wedding blending together cultures from the traditional English wedding to Buddhist and Sri Lankan ceremonial traditions. With the typical Devon weather threatening the outdoor ceremony's chances with a morning of showers, lady luck was onside when a break in the weather timed itself just as the wedding was due to go ahead. That, and with a little help from beautiful bride Ishani managing to live up to her nickname by being ready for 2..."Ish", meaning that the wedding took place under a sudden burst of blazing sunshine. It was a splendid ceremony, and the reception in Pynes House's glorious grounds afterwards gave all the guests a taste for life in the English countryside...well, until another downpour meant everyone had to rush back inside. Thankfully Pyne's was just as photogenic inside, and filled with love and laughter, was the perfect setting for Ishani and Iain to embrace their newly made nuptials and toast with family and friends.
