WARNING - BOAST POST ALERT! Wow, what can I say?! As a finalist in the Devon-based Southwest Wedding Awards for wedding photographers and industry suppliers I get sent a list of comments that my wonderful clients have submitted anonymously about how I performed on their wedding day. It is emotional reading! In fact, I received it at the end of a long winter's day that had been rather heavier than i'd have liked with bad news. It was such a lift to read such wonderful, touching comments that I was very definitely as choked as beautiful Emily's dad in the photograph above! I know it is somewhat a cliche, and possibly run-of-the-mill to produce a post like this, but I cannot reiterate enough what a huge, huge deal reading such comments means to a wedding photographer! I pour my heart and soul into my work, and into providing what I always strive to make an easy, friendly and positive experience from the outset for my clients. Every single wedding is special, to every single couple and their friends and families. It doesn't matter how far into the season I might be, how many years I might have been a wedding photographer, each and every wedding carries its own unique anticipation and excitement. Making a living creating something so personal, about something so personal, is both a privilege and a huge responsibility, and I care immensely about my couples being happy. So to be able to read this feedback, it makes my year and leaves me totally amped for the year ahead! Thank you, thank you, thank you to you wonderful people that have taken the time and energy to share a bit of the love. You've made this Devon Wedding Photographer very happy indeed :). "Amy Sampson is one of numerous photographers we approached for our wedding. The second we saw her work we knew it would be absolutely perfect for us and we were right. Her photographs are beautiful, she has a relaxed, natural style and captures moments that no one else could imagine. She was so understanding of the style we wanted and our needs, and the photographs are more than just memories and pieces to put into albums, they are pieces of art in themselves. We couldn't recommend Amy more. We booked with Amy after we had a Skype interview and a couple of calls. She was professional, she completely understood the photographs we wanted, the complexities of a very large family, and also the venue.
