Becky and Iain's Cornish Wedding at the Alverton Hotel

After what seemed like an eternal winter had cast its spell over Devon and Cornwall, it was wonderful to embrace some warm spring sunshine for Becky and Iain’s wedding at the Alverton Hotel in Truro. It is always not only a privilege, but great fun to be asked to be the wedding photographer for a friend’s wedding, and so I was really looking forward to photographing Becky and Iain’s big day (and also sitting in the posh seats for dinner!). Highlights included: all the laughter, so much laughter, during bridal prep; Becky looking beautiful and so happy in her dress, the amazing weather; Iain and his best man’s one-liners, the gorgeous vaulted ceilings in the Great Hall; some fantastic dancing and of course, the gorgeous Suzie Mac performing the song for the first dance (if you’ve not heard her sing, check her out!). Becky and Iain, I am so happy you’ve finally made it to become man and wife! Wishing you both a very long and happy marriage together.
