Kimi and Sam's Beautiful Blustery Braunton Wedding

So on what seemed to be one of the most beautiful but blustery days this year, the fabulous Kimi and Sam got married in the seaside North Devon town of Braunton, with their wedding ceremony taking place at the quaint village church in nearby Georgeham before heading back to the splendid Ashbarton Estate for some (rather windy) cerebrations. The icy winds might have driven everyone indoors for most of the day but it certainly did nothing to quell the visible spark between these two long-term loves. Having met in their schooldays, Kimi and Sam clearly still felt a huge amount of admiration and love for each other, and that was echoed around their friends and families making the whole day a joy to shoot (even with the hurricane!). Highlights of the day included: the beautifully ancient Ashbarton House with its many mirrors, Kimi’s amazing blue eyes - probably the bluest i’ve ever seen; the emotion on Sam’s face as he waited for Kimi to walk up the aisle; the confetti run…oh the confetti run! I don’t think I have ever seen so much, Sam had to hide away back at the house to fish it out of his trousers; the speeches - lots of laughter; the fabulous singing from Kimi’s dad and bridesmaid; everyone being so friendly and smiley; the serious moves happening on the dance floor after dark! Kimi, Sam - it was an absolute pleasure to photograph your wedding day and I wish you both every happiness for the years to come.
