Leaving sunny Devon behind, I set off for a trip to the Cotswolds for the wedding of Charlotte and Ryan at Cripps Stone Barn, near Upper Windrush. It was great to see lots of familiar faces, groom Ryan being related to Brad, who's wedding to Laura I photographed last summer. First stop was the wonderfully named 'The Guggle' in the pretty Cotswold village of Northleach, where Charlotte was getting ready with her family. An oasis of calm, Charlotte's relaxed and happy manner set the tone for the day as on arriving at the wedding venue Cripps Stone Barn, I was met by a very calm Ryan awaiting a coach-load of guests that had been inadvertently deposited to the wrong venue. Not a pair to by easily flustered, lady luck was on the side of all and with the registrars able to stay on and the missing coach located, the ceremony was able to proceed as planned, with sighs of relief all round! For an April wedding the weather decided to treat us to a summer-like evening (with the help of some big fire-pits) and marshmallows were toasted whilst Ryan and Charlotte decided to brave a walk in the local rape-seed field - I almost lost them behind the towering crops at one point! With a beautiful soft-pink and ever-so-slightly moody sky behind them, it made for a beautiful backdrop for a few shots of the two of them. Charlotte and Ryan, I wish you both the very best of a happiness for your wedding future together!
