Driving up from Devon to Brighton for the first time I was really looking forward to photographing Benjamin and Indy's Brighton wedding, and it didn't disappoint! Benjamin and Indy hoped to recreate the moment they'd had their very first kiss, in front of Brighton's West Pier, this time after they'd just got wed in an exuberant, emotional and joyous ceremony at Church of Christ the King (CCK) Brighton. We'd visited West Pier earlier on in our stroll down Brighton beach where it was so heavily cloaked in fog that, as a first-timer to the city, as we stood at the shore staring into an opaque blanket of white I was starting to wonder if the ghost of an old pier was an urban myth! But some seaside chips, a walk down Brighton Palace Pier later, the sun started to finally burn away the mist so we wandered back in time to see the mist un-shroud the skeleton of the pier before our very eyes. Enjoying the chance to bask in the late and unexpected spring sunshine, Benjamin and Indy finally got their moment against their magical backdrop before heading back to funky The Tempest Inn for a relaxed and fun evening celebrating their marriage with their friends and family. Congratulations Benjamin and Indy!
